decisions. Another reason why underage children should not get tattoos, even with parents’ permission is that when they become old, they are going to get wrinkly skin.
With our wrinkly skin, the tattoo can stretch and look like something else and the tattoo can fade over time. One time when I was in 6th grade, I saw an older lady with tattoos all over her arms and they were faded and a little stretched out. Also, if a girl gets pregnant and she has a tattoo on her stomach, it’s going to stretch and when she delivers the baby, the tattoo is going to be way different than before. We are not going to have smooth skin forever. Children think tattoos look cool now, but wait until they get older and the consequences come along. Everything comes with a consequence. Tattoos can be a decision of a
lifetime. The final reason why underage children should not get tattoos, even with parents’ permission is because it can be scary. It can be scary because a needle is going into your skin and it can hurt. Some people are absolutely terrified of needles and some have zero pain tolerance. An old friend of mine is so scared of needles, she cries whenever she gets a shot. My father has a few tattoos, but when he got his hand and finger tattoos, he said those hurt the most. Of course, anywhere you get a tattoo hurts, multiple needles are going into your skin injecting ink. If you get a tattoo in a certain area, (the parts of your body where the bone is closest to the surface of the skin) it could hurt a lot more. People who can not handle pain or are scared of needles, I think getting a tattoo is not a great idea for you. I know tattoos can be cool looking or it can mean something very important to you, but it also comes with consequences. That is why I think underaged children should not get tattoos. The children will most likely be immature with their decisions and end up getting something from dumb imprinted on them forever. The underage children would probably cry or won’t stop complaining if they have zero pain tolerance. It really is up to the person who gets it, it’s their life, not ours, but in the long run, they will probably regret it. Getting a tattoo will be a tough decision to make, it can be a decision of a lifetime.
