England has the EYFS a statutory curriculum for children aged birth to 5 years for any child being cared for outside their homes. This applies to all settings regardless of how they are funded
Wales has the Foundation Phase which applies to children aged 3 to 7 years who are in receipt of local authority funding in setting such as schools, childminders, pre-schools and nurseries.
Scotland is introducing the Curriculum For Excellence which will included children aged 3 to 18 years.
Northern Ireland has no curriculum before statutory school age. Once in statutory education they follow the Foundation Stage Curriculum.
