Set high standards of your work and show commitment in achieving these standards
Each morning when I arrive at work I have to sort out the days purchase orders that need to be dispatched.
The deadline for all the orders to be processed is 12 noon so that carriers can be booked for collection of the goods.
However by setting my own high standards of making sure the orders are processed for 11am, I then give myself enough time to amend any corrections and allow the warehouse manager to notify me of any mistakes so that by 12 noon all orders are processed accurately and have been checked thoroughly.

This means that I must be punctual, always be honest with them, not borrow items without consent from my supervisor. This also means that I must fulfil my job to the best of my ability.
For example, taking days of sick if you are not genuinely unwell shows a lack of honesty and respect to your employer and may jeopardise your job and future career if they are to give you a character reference in the future.
Help and Support other people
I always try to help and support other people within the workplace as I try to help them cope with a difficult situation by offering as much support as I can, however I always make it clear exactly how much help I am able to give them as I do not want to jeopardise my own work load and cause myself to not be able to complete the tasks. I also try to help and support the warehouse manager by making all instructions for orders clear, such as whether the customer is collecting the goods or it is being despatched, whether the item is going out on economy rate or next day rate or whether an employee is delivering the item
