Unit 202 Improve own performance in a business environment.
Outcome 1: Understand how to improve own performance.
1.1. The purpose and benefit of continuously improving performance at work is so that you can give yourself and also you company a good name. If you are always trying your hardest and accept any challenges to improve you’re learning your boss/manager etc. will notice and you could end up getting a promotion or taken on full time if you already are not. It also looks good for the company as things will be improving all the time.
1.2. The purpose and benefit of encouraging and accepting feedback from others is so that if you are doing things not right you can listen and take in the feedback and try to improve on the these things, also positive feedback is good as it makes you feel good about yourself and shows people are noticing you doing well and appreciate it and you should stick at it.

Learning and development such as going on training can improve own work as you have more of an understanding what is going on, you will also get a possible qualification or certificate to say your qualified to do what it was you was sent on training for. It will benefit the organisation as you are able to complete your work to a better standard as you have more understanding and knowledge-ment in it and some places you may have to been trained before you are allowed to start work. It will also widen your career options as you can possibly move higher in the job you are in or open up more new jobs you are now able to do as you are
