1.1 -Explain the benefits of knowing the purpose of communication
The benefits of knowing the purpose of communication is that is help improve your communicating skills. This can then help you to learn and also teach others things you have already learned. This skill is also good not just in work but outside of work to.

1.2 -Explain the reasons for knowing the audience to whom communications are presented
This is so you can work out the best way to put across whatever you are trying to communicate. It’s important to try and have a plan as to what you are going to be expected to communicate to the audience. For example sometimes you may need to be formal where as other times it may be acceptable to be informal depending on the audience.

1.3 -Explain the purpose of knowing the intended outcomes of communications
This is so you can make sure who ever you are giving the information to is satisfied and has been given all the information that is needed. Is also can help you when it comes to the planning the ways you want to present your communication. It also helps because you can cut out parts that have unnecessary information in so that you only have the information in those matters.

1.4 -Describe different methods of communication and when to use them
There are many different ways of communicating and also different ways to communicate. There are three main types of communication these are verbal, non verbal and written. Verbal communications is anything that you speak. Written is anything that is put into words on things such as letters emails memos ect ect written can fall under the category of non verbal as nothing is spoken, other aspects of non verbal communication is gestures facial expressions and body language. In the work place all these methods are important. Especially when dealing with the public. You have to be conscious of your verbal and non verbal communication and always try to remain
