Unit 4 Assignment 2 Duplicate Training

I do understand the concern about duplicate training. However, creating and updating these videos will actually be a fairly small task compared to updating the modules. To give you an estimate, if we had to update one slide in a module due to contract change, I could record just that one slide, cut out old small piece of video/audio and insert only the updated part in under an hour. I do understand that it would be additional work to upload the new video into the Knowledge Center along with updated module.

I think a .pdf can just as effective as a training video. However, the ease of use is not the same. And let me use some real world training examples I was engaged in recently. I purchased a new garage door opener and a Nest thermostat. I have never installed either of these items and needed to be trained on how to install them properly. Both items provided me with printed written directions, electronic directions and a video option. I choose the video option for both because I could access the same information easier and quicker. I would like for us to do everything we can to make our provider’s lives easier.
We do not have any control of over when or where a VA Order Request will come in. However, we are obligated to have providers ready if a request does come in for an area we were awarded. We need to turn each order request around in twenty days, which means everything has to be ready to go before that order request is received for us to be successful.

I understand at this point in time a Video Library does not appear to be an option, but I hope in the spirit of innovation we can keep it in mind for the
