Augmented Reality: Reality Gets Better

1).What is the difference between virtual reality and augmented reality? Augmented reality allows for the use of real life images with graphics or other effects and can use any of three major display techniques such as head-mounted display, and spatial displays which are able to display graphical information on physical objects and handheld displays. Virtual reality is generated through a computer interactive which is three dimensional in which people can immerse themselves. (Laudon, & Laudon, 2012).

(2).Why is augmented reality so appealing to marketers? Because it will generate more sales and offer customers more insight into the market such as with real estate, in having a way to visually inspect the measurements and other qualities of the home, this will make the consumer more interested and plus it will give the real estate company more revenue from sales. Customers can actually point their phones at a house and get information on the house immediately this is great for busy people who are searching for the perfect house to buy. It is also great for the success of the real estate company not to mention more convenient and time saving (Laudon, &Laudon, 2012).

3).What makes augmented reality useful for real estate shopping applications? It can help both the realtor and the consumer in ways that will implement more sales. As a consumer becomes more dependent on their cell phones having an application like this would enable a potential customer that is always on the go to see the various features of real estate in order to assist them in making a decision on whether or not they would like to call and receive more information about the house. It gives both the consumer and the real estate company an advantage on sales without wasting anyone’s’ time. (Laudon, & Laudon, 2012). (4).Suggest some other knowledge work applications for augmented

Multicast addresses in IPv6 have a larger amount of addresses than IPv4. There are many different multicast addresses for IPv6 and not quite as many for IPv4. Where IPv4 is 32 bits of the total address IPv6 is 128 bits overall. Neighbor discovery in IPv4 is usually rather easy, but in IPv6 it is much easier. Connecting to an address that with IPv4 is currently the way things work easiest, but with IPv6 being able to be converted to connection with IPv4, it is also a rather great way to connect. Connecting to routers is easy on both IPv4 and IPv6 because they both can be converted depending on which way they are going.…

    1. The state of Florida is amongst 16 other states that selects judges through the method “appointment-retention election”. A method in which a proposing group shows names to the governor, who then makes the appointment; appointees need to win a retention vote in the next election. It is not necessarily a good system because the selection is placed in the hands of the judges or attorneys who comprise the nominating committee and the governor, with only a impression of voter input. Reorganizers argue that the plan eliminate judges from politics and saves the electorate the problem of voting on judicial candidates when they know little about their professional qualifications.…

Do you ever wonder who killed Reconstruction? Well many believe the North killed Reconstruction for a variety of reasons, but the three main reasons are the North’s racism, fatigue, and distractions. Some positives about Reconstruction were the Freedman’s Bureau, This gave the African Americans support like food, education, jobs, and legal help. Also there was the Civil Rights Act this gave the blacks and whites the same type of rights. But there was also some negatives around this time like Sharecropping because the African Americans would be getting taken advantage of. Then there was the Black Codes making laws restricting the rights of African Americans.…

For most of America’s history, farmers, entrepreneurs or shop owners could live their entire lives without getting any assistance from the federal government except maybe mail. But those days are long gone. In 2012 the total number of Americans on government assistance or welfare reached 4,3000,000. Many of which are 4th or 5th generation Welfare recipients. For whatever the reason, we have become a culture of dependency in which poverty is a trap. Long-term recipients loose job skills, work habits as well as work contacts. For this reason the government should require recipients to work as much as they can. It could be called “workfare” and could help recipients increase potential long-term earnings.…

Augmented reality also involves a a foreign device in front of the eyes but does it in a much different way. The device is much less obtrusive and much more portable then a typical virtual reality machine. This is because instead of taking your reality and putting it to the side and creating all all new one augmented reality fuses the virtual and real aspects together. While virtual reality puts you in a completely different world, augmented reality amplifies and goes off of the world that already exists to the human eye. For example a product known as Google glass is basically just an ordinary set of glasses with a small screen attached to one of the lenses. It is by no means undetectable, but is a substantial difference from a huge headset that covers one third of your face in addition to wearing headphones as is needed for virtual reality…
