They fought well, may their souls rest in peace knowing that they served their king well. As Jaron walked throug¬h the city he saw the coliseum he said “Sick people, killing for their amusement” he continued walking through the city, he walked over to an olive tree, drew his sword, then he said “ I never liked olives”, then he split the tree in half with his sword. “Leonidas is going to like this one”, thinking of the three other kingdoms his army took over. It had been seven days so they should be here by now, Jaron had been fasting for the war so he was starving now. He fell to the ground; he fainted of starvation that was the last thing that he remembered. When Jaron woke up he saw Ceaser and then Ceaser said “here drink this, its ambrosia, it’ll make you feel better.” It took Jaron a minute to recover his senses and when he did he said “Thank you, for saving me why did you?” Jaron said. Ceaser replied “Because you spared my life so I owed you.” Ceaser said. Jaron took the ambrosia and drank it. King Leonidas came out of the door of the sanatorium he said “Jaron my friend how are you feeling?” he asked. “Bbbbbeter” that was all Jaron could say before he saw the powder in the bottom of the cup he had been …show more content…
I have many other powers also I can make fireballs, summon monsters and lightning, and lastly I can do all of this with bare hands. Some of the monsters I can summon are zombies, phoenixes, minotaurs and the best I have been able to do so far is Dragons. This may seem cool but it kind of sucks because it HURTS, the fire and lightning burns my hands and it leaves scorch marks. Also with the summoning it takes up a lot of my energy and I almost faint every time I do it. And it is kind of weird looking at myself in a mirror because I have pointed

It has been said that Sparta had two separate histories, its own and that of its image abroad...Considering how much was written about Sparta in antiquity, it is remarkable how confused, contradictory and incomplete the picture is. Partly this is because the mirage is constantly cutting across the reality, distorting it and often concealing it altogether; and partly because the Spartans themselves were so completely silent. With respect to our knowledge of the helots in ancient Sparta, how accurate do you believe this statement to be? Our first speaker praised our wondrous military. I will be continuing my team's argument that Athens is far superior to Sparta by examining the mindset of the Athenian government. To prove/support my belief that the Athenian government was superior to that of Sparta, I will be arguing 2 major points. Firstly, that the government in Athens was fairer than theirs and secondly, that the system of governing was stronger than theirs.…

Led by Porcius, a short, unlikeable legionaire, the Romans ran down the twisting alleys, the Visigoths hot on their tails. Suddenly Porcius jumped through an open door, closing it as he ran in. Romulus, near the back of the group, swore under his breath. Romulus was a tall natural leader with the usual Roman blonde hair and sharp features. While his heart pounded, he saw his long time friend, Marcus’ black hair, unusual in Rome, bobbing in the middle of the group. Romulus had led a dozen legionnaires and veterans in an ambush against a small group of Visigoth troops. However, there was a large group of enemy troops nearby, and it quickly became clear they had to retreat.…

If you had the choice between living in ancient Athens or ancient Sparta which, would you choose? While one stands for democracy, the other stands for war. Surely having been raised in America, one is more likely to side immediately with the most democratic one. However, not everyone was equal in Athens. Also, although Sparta was almost entirely focused on war, one half of the population was not completely alienated by the other. Athens and Sparta had completely opposite ways of living.…

While the city of Troy was being burned and sacked, a survivor known as Aeneas would begin a mission to deprive the Greeks of their victory of Troy not through the sword and spear, but through his words. Aeneas knew that the Greeks would tout themselves as brave strategists who managed to outwit the Trojans. The Greeks would make Aeneas city appear as though they were full of imbeciles that fell to the mighty hands of the Greeks. In order to tarnish the image the Greeks would no doubt boast, he would tell a story to Queen Dido that not only takes away the Greek’s ability to claim credit, but also say that the burning of Troy will allow the Trojan’s to become more powerful than the Greeks could ever have imagined.…
