URCUPAC in quichua (pronounced KEE-CHU-WA) means ¨from the mountain¨ or ¨high in the mountain¨. URCUPAC offers excellent quality, high-end Quinoa value-added products. URCUPAC belongs to Ecuadorian holding company CEPSA S.A., a company with more than 50 years of experience in the local market enterprising in oil derivatives and representing British Petroleum (BP) in the Ecuadorian market.
CEPSA S.A. commercializes and represents other international companies such as the Japanese rubber tires leader Yokohama, Korean tires Daewoo, and Volkswagen. Driven by CEPSA´S expertise and the desire of international expansion, URCUPAC started as an initiative to manufacture and export quality products that revive ancient Andean crops. Our corporate social responsibility program is based on our direct contact with local and small-land farmers; therefore, successfully achieving fair trade practices. Determined by our goal of producing high-end manufactured goods, the result is a line of seasoned quinoa products called QUINOTTO that guarantee not only the nutritional benefits that quinoa posses, but also offer a superb seasoned fusion of quinoa with different distinguished flavors, and easy to prepare.
