Values, Mision, Vision
Values, mission and vision

Values are principles that allow us to guide our behavior. They are fundamental beliefs that help us to prefer, appreciate and choose some things or behaviors instead of others. They are also a source of satisfaction and fulfillment. They provide us a guideline to formulate goals and purposes whether personal or collective. Values fend for themselves. They are important for what they are, what they mean and what they represent not for what people think about them.

Everybody is subjected to values. Sometimes is really difficult to say which one is the most important because it depends on the life moment. That does not mean that the values a person have in a specific moment can change but he or she can give more priority for some of them depending on the life moment he or she is living.

For me, right now, the values that rule my life are: social relation, integrity, health and respect for others. Firstly, I believe that having friends whether inside or outside the work environment is really important because these are the people who are going to be next to you in good and bad moments, together with the family, and, mainly in the bad ones, it is really comfortable to have people around ready to help you. Secondly, I chose integrity because I firmly think, after seeing what is happening in Spain with corruption, that it is really important to be committed to each activity that we develop. People believe that the fact of leading an important company, the government or a NGO allow them to steal money and undermine the credibility of their organization when they are the ones who should give example to everybody. In third place, I chose health because many times people think that it is not necessary to take care of themselves but then, when the problems appear it is to late to go back and finally, I think that the respect for others should be present in all people’s lives. We need to listen and understand other people’s beliefs and

Values are stable, long lasting beliefs about what is important for a person. Values are individual and very powerful, but very important for each and every human. All kinds of values have a little power on affecting humans, because values have an important influence at human´s behavior, attitudes and perceptions. The values that I hold most deeply are friendships, family, and happiness. Values are things that are important in the way I live and work and I believe all of these things play a major role in my life. Since I was a little kid, my values have changed tremendously. Back then, my values would've been playtime, mac & cheese, and chicken nuggets. I believe values mature as you grow and mine definatly did. For example, when I was younger I remember being friends with everyone, but now I only have a select number of friends. This represents values to me. My values inform my actions by them always being my first thought while making a decision. They always play a role in my…

Values can be political, social, moral and spiritual; and the values derived from our individual experience affect our behaviour. They define our self-concept, who, and what, we are; creating our character, forming our attitudes and driving our behaviour. People need to feel that they have a collective identity that they are good at whatever their chosen group does. Mostly, our values are fixed early in life by our parents or carer through a process called socialisation.…

Mission and vision both relate to an organization’s purpose and are typically communicated in some written form. Mission and vision are statements from the organization that answer questions about who we are, what do we value, and where we’re going. A study by the consulting firm Bain and Company reports that 90% of the 500 firms surveyed issue some form of mission and vision statements. [1] Moreover, firms with clearly communicated, widely understood, and collectively shared mission and vision have been shown to perform better than those without them, with the caveat that they related to effectiveness only when strategy and goals and objectives were aligned with them as well.…
