Vehicle Driving Observation
On the above date and time, I Sargent Marion, observe a vehicle driving in the wrong lane of traffic on 41A near Peters Road. I attempted to the stop the, in which he proceeds another three miles before pulling over. The vehicle was stopped on 41A and East Brook Rd. The driver jumped out of the vehicle, with his hands in his waist band, I order the driver to show me his hands. I was able to deploy my less-than-lethal Taser, which I connected with the driver bring him to the ground. I then detained the driver for further investigation. While patting the driver down for my safety, I found a Glock 23 with loaded, with one in the camber, in his waist band where his hand was. I secured the weapon in an evidence bag and placed it in my secure patrol
vehicle. The driver, would not give me his name and stated he would like to speak with a lawyer before he would answer question. I could smell an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath, he also had blood shot eyes, and appeared uneasy on his feet. I proceed to look at the vehicle, I could smell a strong odor of what I know to be marijuana coming out of the vehicle. I pulled my K-9 and he hit positive on the vehicle. In the passenger seat, I located a AK-47, which was also loaded. Under the driver seat I located 37 Ounce of a substance believed to be Methamphetamine. Officer Glover search the passenger side of the vehicle and located, three pounds of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana, along with 1.2 pounds of a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine. I was able to find a driver license in the vehicle for the driver, Mr. Marco Hendon, who is a convicted felon with a felony attempted murder warrant out of Dade County, Florida. I asked Mr. Hendon if he would consent to a field sobriety tasks, he refused. I transported Mr. Hendon to Franklin County Sheriff’s Department for housing and obtained a search warrant for Mr. Hendon’s blood. I transported him to Southern Tennessee Medical Center, where the warrant was executed at 3:19 A.M. . I ran a complete criminal history on Mr. Hendon, which revealed he had two pervious Driving Under the Influence convictions, and fifth driving while licenses revoked. He was transport to Franklin County Sheriff’s Officer and Booked accordingly.
