Culture is language; the most widely-spoken language in Vietnam is Vietnamese. Vietnamese is the official language of Vietnam and it uses in government, education, offices, and hospitals everywhere. Other ethnic groups in Vietnam have a different language but everybody in Vietnam knows and uses Vietnamese. It is also a mother-tongue of Vietnamese people. Some Vietnamese vocabulary came from other language around the world such as Chinese, French and English. And many words are borrow and expression from three languages such as French, English and Chinese. Since the early 19 century, written language in Vietnam like Chinese now, but Vietnam had a lot of wars and happened in the history and had changed written language. And now, Vietnamese is modern Vietnamese when French Soldier had come to control Vietnam and made modern Vietnamese became common language to conversation more convenient.
Culture is family; Family relationship is very important may be the most important in Vietnam. A traditional family in Vietnam includes grandparents, parents, and children. In a family, the father is powerful he needs to earn money for the family, organise work in family, give resolve when have importance problem. The mother in family is important; they give education for their children and mediator of conflict in the family, they had kept and saved money. The children must respect older people. When the children become adults and go out for work or education, they always come back to their family on holiday to visit
