Violence In Law Enforcement

The United States has recently gone through some violence due to the controversy of ethnicity. For example, last week there was a shooting in Dallas, Texas where black male shoot different white oriented police officers killing five and leaving seven severely injured. It is the cause of many black males thinking their lives don’t matter due to white police officers killing them during their service. This is only one of many violent attacks to the law enforcement and it will only get worse. Therefore, our current government should get involved between the public and the law enforcement to stop this horrific violent behavior. The public is not the only one that has to understand but law enforcement as well, they need to know the purpose of their existence, which is to have peace not to convert everything in to fighting and shooting like they’ve done these past months. There is no way this can happen without the government’s help, they need to interfere and stop this nonsense behavior. In my opinion, government should also punish those officers that kill just because their racist or aren’t able to take control over the situation. For example, punishment should be considered for those in law enforcement that commit unnecessary calls and end up killing citizens to finish with all the racism. Another way of finishing these situations is by having more educated persons into law enforcement. Most police officers don’t have any college degree so they don’t have the ability to handle difficult situations. If these police officers or any law enforcement had a college degree they would have the mentality to act to certain situations because college classes teach students psychology, sociology, and the most important, law enforcement
