For luxury vacationers Virginia Beach could showcase the finer parts of their area and activities that people can indulge in, such as spas, dinner cruises, and high-end shopping.

Virginia Beach may primarily be a summer destination, but can also be fun in the fall and winter months. Other than outdoor activities and the beach, Virginia Beach offers restaurants, shops, a large aquarium and marine science center, and a 3-D IMAX Theater. For a family, these are all events children would enjoy. It is also most likely a cheaper vacation since it is in the off-season.

Its location, just a short ferry ride from New York, makes it a perfect destination for young adults and families. My target market for this destination would be young adults aged 21-30 in surrounding areas like Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. This demographic would like the hip restaurants and bars and could visit Hoboken as a weekend trip. They could also take the train or ferry to New York to see the attractions
