This internship is going to beneficial to me in several ways; personally and professionally.
In my personal life I will be able to become more independent and responsible, since I am living on my own. In the professional aspect I will develop my networking, because I will meet and work with people from different backgrounds and cultures while at the same time learning the dynamics of working in heterogeneous groups. It will improve my English skills and facilitate me to get prepared for future experiences as one of my goals is to get a master's degree abroad in an English speaking country. But perhaps the most important of all is that I will get the opportunity to work in the service industry, for one of the most service-oriented
companies.
Helping others has continually been one of my passions and goals; making them feel special and valued is deeply crucial to me. At this internship, apart from putting my knowledge and skills into practice such as time management, organization, leadership, initiative, and following rules. I will be capable to learn how to treat customers the right way, in order to provide a remarkable service. Also, I will understand how to bring new experiences to the clientele, so they can enjoy the same way I do whenever I go to Disney. Likewise, this experience will show me the real world I am facing in the tourism industry. Therefore, I will witness from first hand the operations of the back of the house, to manage big operations, handle employees, and resolve conflicts. Besides I hope to grasp the know-how and the Disney way.
I am a student who is eager to learn as much as possible about this fascinating business, and as one of my favorite Disney movie says: "All I need is a chance to do something great".
