Was Kamehameha An Effective Leader
Kamehameha is the first person to rule all the 8 main islands. He had to kill many high ali’i and their sons, he also had to kill his own relatives to conquer the hawaiian islands. Kamehameha needed to go through many wars and battles to kill the other ali’i. He had many foreign advisors, weapons, and techniques to help him in wars. His last battle in the unification of Hawaii is the battle of Nu’uanu, where he fought against Kalanikupule and Kaiana and he forced many warriors to fall off the cliff of the Pali. Kamehameha is an effective leader because he was wise and helpful. Kamehameha was an effective leader because he was very wise. One reason why Kamehameha was an effective leader is because he placed a kapu on young sandal wood trees.
