Throughout the eighteenth and nineteenth century, Napoleon Bonaparte became a very successful leader of France. His decisions helped him be the successful leader he always wanted to be. He started off in the military and worked his way up to being an emperor. He actually crowned himself emperor of France in 1804. No one in his family was ever royal, so therefore, he had to learn everything on his own. For someone who had no experience with the throne, he was a pretty great leader.
