A bomb which was equal to 13,000 tonnes of highly-explosive bombs, used to make the Japanese surrender, but also killing many lives, cannot be justified. When the highly-explosive bombs were dropped in Dresden, everyone had thought of this as very affective. But imagine how bad the atomic bomb would be, which could destroy a city only just by its radiation, let alone the actual explosion. President Truman of America made a decision of using the atomic bomb and it is considered as a war crime.
The Japanese soldiers had believed that if they surrender, they would feel humiliation as they knew they were defeated by an atomic bomb or two. The President Truman said that he saved lives but as far as many people believe, he caused a lot of loss and death, since he was the one who made the choice of dropping the two bombs. After the drop of the uranium bomb in Hiroshima, the Japanese did not give up at all, so then the plutonium bomb was dropped in Nagasaki. But if the Japanese did not think of surrendering after the second bombing, would not the President plan on bombing again the third time? Even a few months after the atomic bombing, the poisoning from the radiation sill affected many lives. This radiation is affecting the people at this time, as the illness had been passed through the children of the real sufferers on 6th August and 9th August
