1. How has your WBL experience prepared or shaped your future career goals?
My WBL experience has preoared me for the future by putting me in the work force and showing me what most people have to do to reach their goals and making clear what I want my future work to be like and where I wanna go with it. 2. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years?
In 5 years, I see myself graduated or fixing to graduate from college and being to enter the work force in my area of study. In 10 years, I think that I will be excelling in my work and hopefully looking into create my own business or be teaching. 3. What Courses at Appling County High School has prepared you for work and your future career?
The courses that I have taken at Appling County High School that I think have helped me the most in my work and future career are Computer Applications I & II, Spanish I,II,&III, and depending on whether I teach or not Childhood Education and Graphic Arts. These courses were most beneficial because they help me prepare for my future work and taught me things that I didn’t know. Such as simpler ways to do things on the computer, how to handle children, and how to create business cards, letters, and all kinds of other things! The one that I think helped me the most was computer apps. Mainly because I thought I knew almost everything till I took that class.! Thanks, Mrs. Lamb. 4. Why should your employer be considered for the WBL Employer of the Year?
I currently work at Pete’s Body Shop. My Employers name is Angie Samples and I think that she should be considered for WBL Employer of the year because she has taught me so many things about the business industry, she has been a great example of how I want my future work to be, and she has also shown me that although most people think it’s easy to run a business (IT’S NOT!).Also you shouldn’t just work somewhere because it pays more.
