I would first focus on the groups dynamic and observe how these ladies could provide mutual aid without forcing or placing their beliefs and experiences onto each other. For example, a young woman by the name of Cathy expressed in group about her conflicting emotions towards changing her life around. I’ve observed each group member demonstrate the characteristics of Yalom’s therapeutic factors to further enhance the development of the therapeutic factors that were used in this session. For example, Yalom’s therapeutic factors influence the process of change and recovery among therapy clients. In my opinion co founder Minna Shapiro, ACSW at first did a great job initiating questions that geared towards inquiring about the well being of the clients’ lifestyle. However, towards the end of the film, Cathy expressed how indecisive she have been in making a decision to either leave a stay with her abuser. At this point in the film I admired everyone's willingness to assist Cathy in making a healthy decision for her child and herself. I don’t agree on how the facilitators allow the group member to ambush her with their own personal feelings and opinions. This reaction can cause Cathy to withdraw from therapy or provide insight on her situation. In the event I facilitated this therapy group I would have monitor the follow of the conversation to
