Sometimes government uses mass media to control minds of the society. Mass media uses the language to manipulate our minds. By manipulating, people see world around them differently. For example: Nowadays in Kazakhstan crisis, all people know it, but mass media don't tell people about it , but tell about the problems in schools, in hospitals and so on and people don't think about crisis, but about the problems in hospitals, schools, so they think that there is no crisis. So, government, people are happy. Language is the tool ,which is very powerful. If i tell you «The new teacher taught us new theme and everyone in the class were listening him with interest and attentively», you will think that this teacher is very good and professional. If i tell you : «the new teacher was late , he was absentminded and instead of teaching us new theme he told us the reason of his lateness», you will think that this teacher is very irresponsible and bad teacher.
