It has an outstanding customer services. Based on 6460 reviews on eopinion.com, Bass Pro Shop has 5 stars overall rating on its customer services. Bass Pro Shops is known for a large selection of hunting, fishing, and other outdoor gear. And it became the world 's largest mail order sporting goods store. Bass Pro catches shoppers at home with its catalogs, online store, and TV and radio programs. Its first catalog mailed in 1974. I will review, and establish critique criteria of Bass pro Shop. The areas of emphasis of my critique will include: the site design, usability, business processes for the company and customer, products and services and revenue sources.
Business Models Bass Pro offers wide range of services and products. It has over 2 million website visits per month. Today, over 22,000 items are stocked for the catalog, web site and stores. And 250 Customer service specialists are employed just to handle the volume of orders produced by catalog sales. It has grown steadily since it opened in the early 1980. And because it is privately owned, the company doesn 't disclose sales figures, but per Forbes, last year has ranked Bass Pro at 138 out of the 441 largest private companies and estimated its annual revenue at $2.65 billion. (Forbes, 2010) In 1975, Bass Pro Shop started Business to Business sales. It offers a wholesale division, called American Rod & Gun. Independent retailers can carry Bass Pro Shops products and also receive special pricing. This gives them the right to use of the Bass Pro Shops name and logo. The company also offers affiliate programs to help generate sales for an individual’s business,

With the rapid growth of e-business it is no small wonder why businesses today are taking advantage of the online market. The overall convenience and lack of complexity with buying products and services online has converted most of the public to shopping via the internet. Any business that sells a service or product must strongly consider the fact that being without a website or means for the public to shop online will only hinder the business’ profits and any chance for future development. Many small businesses are realizing first hand that the lack of e-business will ultimately make their companies obsolete.…

The next step would be to create a detailed business plan with sales projections, budgets, goals, and actions. The third step is creating a Domain name that reflects your business for example: UNFO.com/ UNFO.ORG. After this step we have clearly identified the target market in the different fishing towns in Michigan, then an advertising budgets for online strategies, we also need to establish different distribution channels of the merchandise if shipping is required. Then we UNFO need to determine if the company is going to sell goods or services or advertising. Home Depot has direct rivals, such as Lowe’s Home Improvement, True Value and Menards; as well as many indirect rivals that are starting to branch into the home improvement category. This means that Home Depot is also competing with Supercenters like Wallmart. The two stores have a very different approach, however. The Home Depot stores are laid out like warehouses, with open metal shelving where potential customers can see product as far as the eye can see. All of the aisles are cleanly swept, wide and made of concrete so customers can push large flatbed carts around the store, easing access to larger items such as water heaters, storm doors or even bags of salt to keep snow off of driveways. Their aisles are also crawling with well trained, knowledgeable sales staff that are there solely to help you make the right decisions for what you what for your home. Walmart does not offer this feature, and they do not have stores designed to draw in contractors. Home Depot makes it easy for do-it-yourselfers and professional contractors to find everything they need within a few aisles. Walmart may be able to offer lower bottom-line prices on the home improvement items they sell, but they do not offer the same level of customer service or depth of product. Also, Home Depot has the awareness to plan out far in advance where its stores are going to be placed. The store that I am visiting…
