How do employees benefit from empowerment? -By empowering the employees a company will benefit from freeing up their managers from the more hands-on control of workers and it motivates their workers more by adding challenges. Employees benefit in several ways from empowerment, such as shared company information and shared decision-making. Empowerment allows employees to think differently to find improved ways of doing their jobs, to better serve the customers, and to achieve organizational goals. It also allows for employee stock ownership plans and stock options as rewards for the employees and to encourage empowerment.

3. How do team level and team diversity affect team performance? - Team level represents the average level of ability, experience, personality, or any other factor on a team and team diversity represents the differences in ability, experience, personality, or any other factor on a team. Strong teams have members who are different in terms of ability, experience, or personality.

4. What are the characteristics of an effective team? Why are these features so significant? -The characteristics of an effective team are its size, team level, and team diversity. They must be an appropriate size (about six or seven members, statistically. have the best results) to accomplish their work effectively. The team’s similarities and differences are important as well which brings team level and diversity. Team level being considered because businesses may need teams with specific set of skills or capabilities to do the jobs well. Team diversity is an important consideration for teams that must complete a wide range of different tasks or particularly complex tasks.

An effective team will always consist of certain features enabling effective team performance.
