Learning Team Reflection
This week, we were introduced to the null and alternative hypothesizes. In doing this we were given examples of how to compare two populations by using confidence intervals in order to test the hypothesis. Team A was also introduced to how we can apply these methods to problems more applicable to our professional careers, when two population means, population proportions, or population variances, need to be compared. In learning new material, there will be items that come with significant struggles as well as those to be less of a challenge. However, the most important aspect to take away from this week’s entirety would be the application of what we have learned. Therefore, in this paper we the members of team A have elaborated on our journey through the course material of this week five, discussing the topics we felt the most comfortable with, struggled with and found to be challenging, as well as how this week’s material is most applicable to each of our professional careers whether past present or future.
Most Comfortable
The team felt comfortable about the discussion questions after reading the chapters and doing additional research on the topics presented. The questions focus on null hypothesis, alternative hypothesis, independent sample, dependent sample, and one-or-two sample hypothesis. We understood that a hypothesis is the perceive statement of the researcher. We have also gained further understanding in regards to the alternative hypothesis in that it is the revise statement that has proven the null hypothesis to be incorrect based on the data collected. In comparison to past team assignments this week’s has proven to be one we felt the most comfortable with. This week our team was able to collaborate with minimal conflict and sufficient communication, yet our grades reflect the
