Upon stepping up to the cash register to order my predetermined items, I was politely informed that the UF Wendy’s did not carry the Asian cashew chicken salad. I panicked and realized I would have to depend on the skills Robert Carter had taught me to pick my own healthy choice. By doing a once over on the available salads I chose the power Mediterranean chicken salad because it looked aesthetically pleasing and I assumed it was the lesser of the evils presented on the menu in front of me.

The UF Wendy’s carried the bacon covered slab of beef, much to my dismay. As I said previously, I do not understand the fascination with square shaped burgers. To me, the burger looks weird and unappealing and overwhelmingly unappetizing.

The two square patties are very thin and when the bacon is removed you really aren’t getting a whole lot of meat. Overall I’d take the salad over the burger any day, which seems to be a common trend at most of the fast food chains I’ve been going to. I’m not sure if it’s the fact that I now know how bad the burgers are or if I’ve just never really paid attention to how unappetizing these sandwiches taste, but I’m completely off of the burger train right
