This quote of Jay Friedlander, a professor of sustainable business who works with entrepreneurs at the College of the Atlantic and at Babson College, is a total reflection of the West Coast Customs, Inc. Since it was founded, West Coast Customs has been credited with designing and building some of the most amazing vehicles in the world. The company has a team of 30 who build custom cars. The company offers extraordinary automotive designs with an impressive array of services ranging from fabrication, paint, interiors, electronics and performance upgrades. After watching an episode of Inside West Coast Customs and done researches about the company, I realized that Mr. Ryan Michael Friedlinghaus, the founder and CEO of the WCC possesses the admirable characteristics of an entrepreneur, thus, made his company evolved into a multi-million dollar corporation over time and transformed it into a worldwide brand that produces products favored by serious enthusiasts, celebrities, entrepreneurs and corporate titans for their collections worldwide. Additionally, some of the characteristics he has are tenacity - starting a business is an ultra marathon. With just $5,000 dollars he borrowed from his grandfather, he was able to live with uncertainty and push through a crucible of obstacles for years on end. Passion - it's commonly assumed that successful entrepreneurs are driven by money. But with WCC, I can say that they are fueled by a passion for their product or service, by the opportunity to make a one of a kind product and make happy and satisfied clients.
