A virtue is something that can be praised upon however it is also make us good and obedient to the law. Virtue makes us good and obedient to the laws that are forced upon us. There are two types of virtues one is a moral virtue which comes from habits while intellectual virtue comes from knowledge. However, Aristotle talks about courage which is basically overcoming fear to what is right. Also courage is shown by being brave in a battle. And by having courage you receive a sense of honor. While temperance talks about not indulging in oneself and acting like a stuck up donkey. This basically means not being selfish and only thinking about you.
