What America Means To Me
The United States of America is one of the wealthiest and most powerful countries in the world, but it is also more than that. Our country was founded on the idea of freedom, when our forefathers declared independence against the tyranny of Britain. Some people think of America as a second chance, where people can come acceptance. Others come for equality and freedom.. “So, what does America mean to me?” you may ask. America is my home, where I can be who I want to be. The main ideas of America are: freedom, sacrifice, remembrance, equality, and hope. The United States was founded on the principles of freedom. Immigrants who enter here for a second chance mainly come because our government allows them to be free. The only reason we can practice our own religions, say what we want about the government, and live our life how we want is because of the freedom that was given to us hundreds of years ago. And, with these rights we have, we are able to grow as a nation, and other countries see us as an opportunity. Freedom allows people to have a good life, and allows us to have hope in our future.     All Americans are guaranteed equal justice. They are allowed equal justice because America is a free country.
