The NSA (National Security Agency) is an American government agency who is accountable for universal overseeing, assemblage, and managing material. Their surveillance devices search and record for alien information and protection against surveillance, sabotage, terrorist activities and more through a practice acknowledged as signals intelligence (NSA.gov). There are laws in effect that state that their practice is alright but this practice has been maneuvered by the law. Since the event of 9/11, countries around the world demanded to have national security. Many have created alliances with the United States foreign policy and made compromises between freedom and protection. By doing this, the government has allowed other government agencies to pry on our personal transmissions to locate convicts. Unfortunately, that is not the sole reasoning. In fact, government surveillance is more of an advantage commercially for the diplomatically powerful. What does this mean? When negotiations are in order for foreign political leaders, they can supply government bureaucracies that provide secret advantages. This also occurs while snooping on corporations, associations, and people in society. The larger the corporation, the greater the opponent for another corporation to power.
