Professional gamers are often misunderstood because it's widely accepted that pro gamers are antisocial, physically weak, and idle nerds. The pros are more than what society has stereotyped professional gamers to be. In reality these competitive gamers do other activities like hang out with people and relatives. Some are really fit and don't spend the whole day grinding out a game with the team. Lastly professional gamers are not slothful nerds. This is the passion pro gamers live for and it is the game they play for which earns them the money. The professional gamers have to put up with life as much do other groups have to. Misunderstanding the gamers who play video games for a living is a mistake because of how broad of a community the pro’s share with one another. If people would take the time to understand who these professionals are the less stereotypes and misconceptions there would be on the professional gaming world.
