What Are The Three Branches Of Government
The U.S. government has three main branches. These three branches are the Legislative, Judicial and Executive. Each of these branches were made possible by the checks and balances in the constitution written by James Madison. Each of these branches all have a very specific job. As well as always needing to confirm with each branch so not one branch has too much power.

The Legislative branch consists of the House of Representatives and the Senate. (whitehouse.gov) The constitution allows this branch to declare war and to make a law. They have the power to either reject or confirm presidential meetings. The House of Representatives is made up of 435 members from each state and each state has a certain amount of representatives according to
