We all experienced it differently. For me, Bruce Wayne was an accurate representation of mental illness. He’s obsessive, and accurately depicts the symptoms of such a disorder, including the social isolation, impulsivity, hypervigilance, nightmares, and feelings of guilt. The importance of this sort of mental health representation that exists in Bruce Wayne is that it’s clear that he is not his disorder. True, it is a significant part of who he is, yet he’s more than it. Bruce Wayne is far more than just a disorder.
