Combined with my compelling strive and dedication to learning mathematics and physics, I am equally dedicated to using my qualities to in a field that would harness my abilities and bring me to a place where I can help people and bring meaning to my work. Before coming to Fonty’s, I used to work as a Delivery Personnel at Best Buy. It was similar to that of a technician by which I used to repair machinery, install new equipment into households, and trouble shoot job sites. This was a well-paying job that came with an above average salary, but I quickly felt discontent with my work. I lost my enjoyment shortly after learning that my work didn’t have much meaning outside of the few households I worked in and that I didn’t feel challenged enough in my own intellectual abilities. I still look back and admire all the knowledge and experience it brought me, but I don’t feel as if I gained anything other than the compensation I received. I researched different studies that I thought might be beneficial to me, but I found solace in the idea that my work will help me make larger impacts on the lives around me. Mechanical Engineering looked like the study that fit all my requirements. I wish to work on projects that will help benefit the world around me. An example of this would be to design a vehicle that utilizes a natural emission free resource. I believe that Earth is running out of nonrenewable resources and we must look to reverse the effects of the pollution our society has used to devastate our planet. It is possible to do this by putting more efforts into harnessing wind, solar and hydro-electricity and fitting it to help people. Similar to what Elon Musk has passionately pursued. I seek to study engineering in hopes that I will be able to help develop this type of technology and to use
