What Does My Ally Symbolize
My ally is my Uncle George for many reasons. The main being that he is my role model because of what he has achieved in sports. What he has done is more than anything I have ever done. I want to be like him at football. He has always been someone I looked up to. My goal is to be like he was in highschool because of his talent in football. What he has achieved is beyond anything I have ever seen someone do. My dream is to be at his level of excellence and be on varsity next year.
He is also my ally because of how good he is at fishing. Which is something I love to do. He has caught more fish than anyone I have ever seen. I look up to him with his skills in catching fish. He has caught things I have never seen before. He has caught a 7 foot shark and even a stingray the size of a kitchen table. I always ask him what to use depending on the kind of fish I wanna catch. I hope to catch the fish he has caught and get as good as him one day.
Another reason why my Uncle George is my ally because he is a very good hunter. Hunting is something I love to do. My Uncle has taught me so many things like how have proper gun safety. teaches me how to shoot good by having proper technique. For example, many people don't know that if you hold your breath while shooting it helps you stay still and be more calm. I would have never known something so simple like hunting can be so hard and complicated. My uncle was there when I shot my first animal and I hope he will be there for my next.
The last reason why my uncle is my ally is because I can always ask him anything and he will always have an answer.
Whether it is school work or a random question I can always count on my uncle to know the right answer. I mainly ask him outdoor living questions and he can tell me what I needed to know. I ask him religious questions from time to time and he will tell me that god is great and can do anything. If I ask him a school question he will always finish with saying “Make sure you go to college”. Every so often I will ask him to show me what his stance looked like in football so I can do what he would do and be as great as him one day. He is someone I look up to and plan to be like him and be an ally to someone one
