Courageous

When you stand up for someone you care about, you need courage to stand up. The statement, “It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog”, shows an example of courage. In the novel Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry, Mildred D Taylor uses Uncle Hammer to show courage. Courage is standing up for something you think is/isn’t right. Uncle Hammer is someone who wants to protect his family & doesn’t think before he acts. He stands up for what he believes in/thinks is right.
