Michelangelo Di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni, Donato Di Niccolò Di Betto Bardi, and Raffaello Sanzio Da Urbino. Art during the Renaissance was made using different techniques and tools. Da Vinci, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo inspired many people throughout the height of the Renaissance, including each other by using those tools and ideas throughout their artwork. The movement of the pieces and anatomy of the people seen in the artwork from those artist was brand new, and created controversy due to the more realistic and intricate science ideas put into the artwork. Many churches found the art threatening because of the ideas leading away from the religious beliefs that they had been teaching for a long time. All of the artist of that time period had to work around everything that was going on then.
Many reforms were taking place to keep or change the way that art and beliefs had always been.
Within those reforms those artist started to display and share their artwork along with the ideas that came with them, and people started to pick sides as too what they would start to do with their culture and beliefs. These sides turned into mainly sides of religion. Many different attempts to save the way religion use to be started. Churches began to reform. High religious leaders started to sell indulgences. Those indulgences were a way of keeping the churches afloat in the chaos that was erupting at the time. The churches also translated the Bibles and other religious books. Churches did that so that the majority could not read them. Doing that allowed the priest, popes and others religious powers to continue their control because the people of those places were unable to read the books for themselves to know if what the churches said was the truth. That helped those churches to keep their control because with the majority of the population unable to read the books, whatever the churches said was supposedly what God
willed.
The artist of that time came into play because they were challenging the rest of society with new ideas, structures, and forms of conflicting artwork that they made and exposed to others. The art that those artist produced progressed art and ideas more than ever before. Through the events that occurred during that time and the artist and leaders involved, the world has come into the level of success, progress and exploratory personality of today. The Renaissance has allowed the world to be bettered, and people still continue to look back on and learn from the Renaissance and the talented artist who explored art further than most would have.
