What Freedom: What Does Freedom Means To Me
What does freedom mean to me? Freedom means the knowledge of knowing your rights, your personal freedom that nobody can ever take away from you. Freedom means being able to have an opinion without it being judged. Freedom means not being restricted or held down from trying to accomplish your dreams. Freedom is a right that every human being deserves, yet people around the world are being stripped of that right, being forced into a religion or being forced to do things that they may not want to do. There are people all around the world praying for deliverance and to be set free every single day. Freedom is having the right to make your own decisions and being able to govern your own actions while also taking responsibility for the consequences

The word freedom has a different meaning for different people. Freedom to me means being free from a single ruler who dictates and who goes by his own rules. Freedom has affected America immensely and has brought upon many individuals for the thought of having freedom for the first time. Liberty is defined as equality, state of being free or having freedom of choice. Sometimes our freedom can be limited because of the government policies. But it’s the fault of the government itself that the remedy is worse than evil” Henry David Thoreau, Civil Disobedience. Liberty gives us the freedom to say no that what make it very important.…

To me, freedom means each moment, of each day, of each year, I can do all things, or at least try to do all the things that I desire. To me freedom means being able to show happiness, sadness, and anger in public. To me freedom means feeling safe, confident and secure in my life. Freedom is being able to have a voice and letting it be heard. I think freedom means having the right to make my own choices and decisions in life. Freedom allows me to love and hate. Freedom allows me to buy, own and sell. It allows me to come and to go places. Freedom allows me to obtain the things I want and to discard the things I don’t want. Freedom is waking up in the morning with sunshine even when the sun rays aren’t penetrating through the clouds. Because of freedom I can dream of being the President of the United States one day or the mother of many children, unlike others in different countries. Freedom is possible for me and everyone in the United States of America because of our countrymen and women. There are people who have and still are sacrificing, bleeding and dying for it. I realize that my freedom came with a great price. For all the men and women who fought for my freedom, I do greatly appreciate you and what you have sacrificed for me and the people of this great nation.…
