Short Essay On Freedom By Harrison Bergeron
Freedom Freedom is the state that you have power to act, speak and choose whatever you want. Everyone have the dream about being free and live without force in their lives, and also people have their rights to live without flexibility. Freedom is an essential act in people’s life because people who have not rights to speak or act are like a bird in a cage. People need freedom for choosing what they want to do, saying their ideas, and voting.
People have rights to choose what they want or what they do, and many people mentioned freedom. For example, Harrison Bergeron short story explains that people who were in the story were not free because all smart people were controlled by the government, and if people ignore government’s rules, they would be suicided. Additionally, Nelson Mandela try his best in order to gain rights for people and make them happy. Also, people who have not

Government should change their president every four years, and they should be chosen by people. Further, people who are above eighteen have rights to vote and choose what kind of leader or president they want. Likewise, leaders should not force people to choose them, and they should not use unlawful things like giving money to people in order to choose them. Moreover, new leaders who are chosen by people should give rights for their people to make them like him or her. To explain, Mandela claimed “Real leaders must be ready to sacrifice all for the freedom (Mandela).”
In conclusion, people should not live without freedom, and nothing could do without it. People who have not freedom live like slaves because they forced for thing that they want to do. People want freedom; if they have not rights, they would like a bird in a cage, so they need it for choosing what they want to do, saying their ideas, and voting. Many celebrities like Mandela, and many kurdish poets mentioned freedom for their people in many

Freedom is not something that anybody can be given; Freedom is something that people take and people are as free as they want to be. Benjamin Franklin, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States, states, "Those who desire to give up freedom in order to gain security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one." Basically, Franklin is saying that in any circumstances mankind should not forget about the most important thing in the world - freedom. Freedom is when people have the opportunity to pursue happiness without any barriers. Freedom "gives" happiness because the state of being free is aligned with our true nature. The more you are aligned with your true nature, the more you are well. To simplify this, I would say if we have freedom - we have happiness; if we lose freedom we lose happiness as well. I believe people are only able to value it, as far as they can acknowledge how much it's important to them. I really love and appreciate the opportunity to be happy, that’s why I totally agree with Benjamin…

The idea of freedom can be seen in Collection 2 of our textbook. Freedom can be seen in the speech, “I Have A Dream” by Martin Luther King Jr, when he was speaking out to everyone about his dream to have the same rights as white men. A lack of freedom can be seen throughout the short story, “The Censors” by Luisa Valenzuela, when Juan discusses about how every letter is carefully read, which is an invasion of privacy. “Reading Lolita In Tehran” by Azar Nafisi also showed a lack of freedom, when the author discusses the lack of rights that women had to put up with.…
