What Is Anne Frank Really Good At Heart
Anne Frank had a kind heart, fierce mind, and brave spirit. If you were forced to stay inside a small hiding place, surrounded by people forbidden to go outside, could you survive it? Anne Frank was sheltered for two years with her family, the Van Daans, and Mr. Dussell. She couldn't go outside, shared her room with a dentist, still had to complete schoolwork, and even had to regulate her bladder because the W. C. could only be used at certain times. Even though Anne had all of these obstacles to overcome, she still said that "In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart." This makes her kind- hearted, brave, and optimistic.

Anne was kind-hearted towards society and always believed that no matter who the person was, they all had a bit of good in them. Anne once said that "Everyone has inside him a piece of good news. The good news is that you don't know how great you can be! How much you can love! What you can accomplish! And what your potential is!" This certain quote shows that even in the worst of times, there is always a little good in it. A silver lining. Anne also

This quote, "What is done cannot be undone, but one can prevent it from happening again." shows that even though a mistake has been made, Anne is not angry at whoever it was directed to. Not to mention responsibility. "I don't think of all the misery but of the beauty that still remains." is the best of Anne's quotes that show her looking at the glass half-full. "Whoever is happy will make others happy too." shows the reader that Anne believes happiness is contagious, and that anger and sadness isn't as important.

In conclusion, Anne Frank's quote, "In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart." shows that she is kind-hearted, brave, and optimistic because she sees the beast in people, stays strong for her family, and never loses her

Anne was born on June 12, 1929, in Frankfurt, Germany, and she was just a teenager when Nazis began to torture the Jewish people. During the camp life, she kept writing down a journal about her and others’ life. Anne’s older sister’s name was Margot, and both of them were not a good match for being friends, although they were siblings, because Margot was jealous of Anne. Anne’s father, Otto, was a practical and kind man that he had hopes to survive even if he was older than Anne. Anne died when she was a teenager at the camp because she was not keeping a hope like her father. Hope is the only elements to make a person, who has it, reach his/her goal in life.…

During World War II there was so much evil and violence. Jews were being burned in stoves. They had to hide from the Nazis. Despite all this Anne Frank still managed to believe that “people are really good at heart.” This is not necessarily true. In The Diary of Anne Frank, Mr Van Daan is a very selfish man which means that he disproves Anne’s quote. The men in Night by Eli Wiesel also couldn’t care less about the Jews in the concentration camps. In the Journal Entries Anne’s belief is disproven because people are stealing food and beating people up. Not everyone is truly good at heart as we can see from these sources.…

Anne may be living in terrible conditions, but she sees it in a positive viewpoint saying that it is like being on vacation. It can be argued that this positive attitude did not help Anne because she ended up being killed during the Holocaust. Anne may of not survived the Holocaust because of her positive attitude, but it made it easier to live and enjoy life in the terrible situation. Anne also made it better by making the living conditions more cheerful. Anne wrote, “Thanks to Father--who brought my entire postcard and movie-star collection here beforehand--and to a brush and a pot of glue, I was able to plaster the wall with pictures. It looks much more cheerful” (374). Anne once again is making the best out of her conditions by decorating her room and making it more cheerful. People also got through conflict by looking at the good things in life and blocking out the negative things. In Dear Miss Breed, there was a letter from a girl by the name of Louise Ogawa. Louise was being sent to a relocation camp in Arizona. The letter…

She is young and has not experienced life to the fullest so, she is very hopeful for future events. In the text Anne states, “Monday, the ninth of November, 1942. Wonderful news! The Allies have landed in Africa. Pim says that we can look for an early finish to the war. Just for fun he asked each of us what was the first thing we wanted to do when we got out of here. For myself, there are so many things... to ride a bike again... to laugh till my belly aches... to have new clothes from the skin out... to have a hot tub filled to overflowing and wallow in it for hours... to be back in school with my friends.” This proves that Anne was very hopeful for a good outcome. Anne was very courageous. She never chose to give up when everyone around her felt like their lives were going to end, instead she kept her head high and stayed positive. She has learned that through hard times she can still find the happiness in life and can focus on them. Anne did not just make it through challenging times, she thrived through challenging times. We all should notice that no matter what was going on, Anne was seeing the joy and good in not only life, but in people as well. She showed us who she really was through this life changing experience. Anne demonstrates that we should keep our head held high when we face the struggles of life. If Anne Frank can see the good in things while being persecuted, I know I can. I have learned from the Holocaust that no matter who you are, what you look like, your race, religion, or anything you can think of, we are equal. Now you are probably thinking, “shouldn’t she already know that?” The Holocaust has helped me to see it in a different way. It also showed me how cruel and selfish humans can be and how cruel and selfish I can be. A lesson all humans should know is that we are one. We are equal. Anne once said, “‘I don’t think of all the misery, but the beauty that still remains,’”…

I believe that "tomorrow is a new day with no new mistakes in it yet" - Anne of Green Gables. I have always liked this quote because despite the fact that Anne Shirley, the main character in Anne of Green Gables, makes countless mistakes, she never stops trying. I remember the first time I heard this quote. I was snuggled in my bed, listening to my mom read to me what would soon turn out to be my favorite book of all time. This quote resonated with me as soon as my mother read it aloud. The quote acknowledges that there are no new mistakes yet. There will be more mistakes in the coming day, but no mistake is so big that it can not be fixed. Anne always kept on trying, whether it was with her friends or at school or at home. I try to remember…
