that practiced dark, evil magic. Harry grew to live a very sad childhood while living in his aunt and uncle’s closet under the stairs. Harry’s knowledge about his own wizarding strength remained nonexistent, that is until a humble man by the name of Hagrid informed him of his powers. There is a woman that I know that comes very close to this definition. She is just as courageous as she is kind, as strong as she is a role model. This person is my mother. Though it may be typical or stereotypical, my mother is a real life hero in my eyes. After being told that my mother had been diagnosed with cancer in 2010, I had knew that she was about to face the toughest battle she’d ever seen. I watched my mother fight cancer until there was no more cancer left. She protected herself and those around her from the heartache losing her would cause. She saved herself by defeating the enemy, and I could never repay her enough for
that.
In conclusion, some qualities I believe a hero possesses include: being able to be brave in the toughest of circumstances, doing good by people simply because it is the right thing to do, and protecting loved ones from any obstacle thrown at them.
