What Is Mrs. Jones Respectful
In the story Mrs. Jones is very respectful, nice, and considerate to Roger. She treated him like she was her own son. With all the help from Mrs. Jones she changed Roger in many ways. She taught him how to be respectful, and to do the right thing. Roger had came up to Mrs. Jones on the street and tried to rob her, but failed. Mrs. Jones could have done bad things to Roger such as calling the police, but she didn't. She took him to her home. She welcomed Roger to her home by supplying Roger with food, water, towels, money, a comb, and a warm house to relax in.
Roger was on the streets looking for someone to rob, to get something he had wanted. He found the perfect suspect, Mrs. Jones. He ran up to her and attempted to steal her purse. Mrs. Jones suddenly grabbed the kid and took her purse back. The boy had failed trying to steal the woman's purse. He tried hard for something that he couldn't buy himself because he had no money.
Mrs. Jones took Roger in to her house and realized that the boy hasn't eaten in awhile. She was very kind to bring him into her house. Not many people would take a stranger into their house, especially one that tried to rob them. She started to cook

Jones gave Roger a towel and let him use her sink to wash up. She wanted to make sure he was well cared for when he left. She did many things that she didn't have to do. Roger then realized how considerate she was being so he asked, “Do you need somebody to go to the store,” asked the boy, “maybe to get some milk or something?” Roger had learned to offer things to be kind just like Mrs. Jones had been doing. Roger did not deserve anything that Mrs. Jones did for him, because he tried to do something bad to her but she is being so kind and nice. Mrs. Jones also said “wait for the water to run so it’s warm” which is meaning that she does care about him and what he does even though he is not a perfect person. She treats him like her child so she is very caring for
