What Is The Difference Between Good Will Hunting And Sonny's Blues

There are many different ways to teach and express morals of stories. These stories help to teach future generations and to guide them on the right path. In “Good Will Hunting” and in “Sonny’s Blues” these stories provide a moral that everyone can follow. Below I will discuss the similarities and the differences between the different stories. I will discuss the main moral of the stories. Also, I will discuss what the consequences were for both Sonny and Will to use their gifts. Lastly, I will describe in detail my own gift. I will explain how my gift is used to benefit me and how it also creates negative issues for me all areas of my life. Gifts are here to help to make each person special and we should never run from that gift.
Sonny’s Blues
Will had logically thought his gift could be used wrongly if put in the wrong hands. Will did not want to be responsible for injuring or hurting people if his future employer was to use his gift in a negative way. Will was also scared of himself and what he had to offer the world. Also, he was basically physically and emotionally abused so he believed on some level that he did not deserve more than his current living conditions. Those conditions defined who he was and what he could do in life, in his mind. Of course this was not true in the end of the story. I do believe that these factors can affect other people in this world who have a unique gift. People must think how there gift is used and who will use it for what purpose. Sometimes people are taken advantaged of and their gifts are used to harm people or things. Finding out that your gift was used in a negative way can truly hurt a person and affect them in a psychological way. I would say that one of my greatest gifts is the ability to multi-task although I do not believe that this could be use to directly harm people, I do believe it has negative effects. I am a person who can truly handle multiple tasks at one time and finish them successfully. This is great for my work ethic and home life however people take advantage of my gift by unloading their work onto me because they know I can do it. All of this work although I do complete the task can become overwhelming and stressful. This also gives people the ability to falter in their own work tasks and have a bad work ethic because they take advantage of me. All in all having a gift is unique to everyone however it must be used
