The criteria that Tony meets according to the DSM-V (American Psychiatric Association, 2013) is the following:
A. 1. Failure to conform to social norms with respect to lawful behaviors, an example of this is that Tony has been arrested several times for felonies like armed robbery and kidnapping.
2. Impulsivity, he complained of a sudden impulse to stab other residents.
3. Irritability and aggressiveness, in his last crime he held the man at bay with a machete. It is also mentioned that he has had several violent impulses.

The individual is at least age 18; Tony is 39 years old.
C. The evidence for conduct disorder with onset before age 15 is that he dropped out of school in seventh grade.
D. The occurrence of antisocial behavior is not exclusively during the course of schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. There is no information that indicated that he meets criteria for any of these disorders. The diagnosis for Unspecified Alcohol-Related Disorder is given because there are no current symptoms and/or enough information that indicate Alcohol Use Disorder. Tony reports to have been sober for 3 weeks and before that we do not know that frequency and quantity of Alcohol that he was consuming. It would be recommended that Tony is assessed to determine if he meets criteria for Alcohol Use Disorder.

In this particular case, I consider to be important to note the upbringing of the person. Tony have had a history of trauma from young age, also by being African American he has been victim of racism that only adds to his history of trauma.
