Abstract
In this paper, different literatures have been reviewed in order to have deepest understanding about the main tittle of the paper. The paper is organized in a way that can put something about the organization structure and function. It has five section; the introduction, objective, methodology, discussion and result, IGAD relationship with different organization and main challenges of IGAD.
The objective of IGAD; will be to Promote joint development strategies and gradually harmonize macro-economic policies and programmes in the social, technological and scientific fields; Harmonize policies with regard to trade, customs, transport, communications, agriculture, and natural resources, and promote free movement of goods, services, and people within the region.
The main objective of this paper is to know in detail the structure of IGAD and its contribution in regional development efforts. In this paper mostly secondary data are revised and important points are extracted from the literature. Different terms has been defined which we will use in each stages of IGAD main intervention. Most of the IGAD establishment articles are revised and some are taken that has directly linkage with the main aim of this paper.
