Good morning/afternoon my fellow North Torontonians. First, I’d like to thank you all coming to this election assembly, and actually staying awake, while we’re all reading our speeches. In case you haven’t already met me, my name is Phyllis and I am the best qualified candidate for JVP. But before I get into the issues about my position, and my credentials and the stuff you’d find boring, I’d just like to quickly reflect on one of my first anecdotes at this school. I remember my buddy talking about the amazing French fries at the café and how smart the students here were. In fact, one of my New Year’s Resolutions last year was to create a club or committee to help fundraise for charities. But, I soon realized that that wouldn’t be necessary since we already have Charity Week
To my beloved teachers, fellow students, candidates, the faculty and staffs, and to our guest, a pleasant day to all! First and foremost, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for being here, for your time, for allowing me to share my ideas, and for having this election, without your presence this election wouldn’t be of great success. Actually, I’m out or words right now, as I stare at you guys because I’m impressively mesmerized by how gorgeous and handsome my audience are that I could hardly remember what I was supposed to say. As I stand here in front of you, I know most of us know my purpose of speaking in
