When I Have Fears I May Cease To Be Analysis

I believe that the one question people ask themselves the most is what they want to do before they die. For example, maybe a little child around the age of eight, wants to go to Disneyland and se where all the magic comes from. Or for a young man in highschool, maybe he wants to get a scholarship for football, and possibly go on to play for the Broncos in the NFL. Many people have different dreams than their neighbor and peoples thoughts about the world and what they want to do in life can drastically as they get older and enter into adulthood. I recently read a poem titled, When I have fears that I may cease to be, written by John Keates. In this poem, Keats is writing about his fears in dying. He was dying he was afraid of three things, (1.) He was afraid he would cease to exist, what he means by this is he was afraid people would forget about him and the poems he wrote. (2.) He was afraid he would never be able to read anymore books, and (3.) He is afraid he will never be able to his true love again. Just like Keats I would like to do a few things before I die.
My education is very important to me and I'm glad I realized just how important is was at a very young age. Im thankful for my parents for teaching me me that. Without my education I wouldn't be able to fulfill many of dreams. I would like to go to sheridan college and get my associates degree there. After I do that I would like to go to a bigger school possibly in colorado. And major in music. I have loved music all my life.
