When Some People Dishonor Our National Anthem
One thing that I dislike is when some people dishonor our National Anthem by either sitting down for it or kneeling down hint Kaepernick. Anyone can disrespect the National Anthem, but then they have to deal with the people who actually care about the Anthem and our country. After someone disrespects the Flag and the Anthem everyone else goes awol because that specific person isn’t being respectful to the Flag and the Anthem. Like Kaepernick, he had to kneel down apparently for the National Anthem with a few more players on his team. I disagree that the NFL player should be able to sit or kneel down during our National Anthem it’s Rude and Disrespectful.
My first reason on why I dislike about the NFL player is that they are dishonoring our soldiers who fought for our country. Because our National Anthem means a lot of things it stands for Respect for the Soldiers who fought for us and our country. Same Thing with the team Jacksonville Jaguars and Baltimore Ravens took a knee while many other players and coaching staff stood and linked arms There's a reason why people give respect to the National Anthem because it shows respect for our country. They are starting to be bad role models to me and others who enjoy them as their favorite team. They are setting bad examples for kids and teens who enjoy the NFL they shouldn’t be doing this but they are anyways. I’m also thinking the reason why they are doing this is to get more attention just so they think they are the better one. Now we have to be stuck with these NFL players be rude to others or being disrespectful. But no one should sacrifice his or her principles, even if it means losing a spot on a team, facing public condemnation or suffering other consequences” (Kendall np).
