I believe we were created to stand out and be different.
As DR. Seuss said WHY FIT IN WHEN YOU WERE BORN TO STAND OUT. The quote by DR. Seuss means that you must always be yourself. You should not change who you are for anyone else. Everyone is unique in their own way. We were all born to stand out in our unique way. It’s very easy to fit in so we do what everyone else does and gets what everyone else gets. Standing out like someone has a standout performance.

Fitting in is like not belonging. Fitting in is ultimate an obstacle. You twist yourself into a human pretzel so people will hang out with you. Belonging is showing up and letting yourself be seen and known as you really are. Many people are different. When we try to be accepted into a group without being accepted for who we actually are, we don’t allow people to know who we actually are and congruent living is soul-sucking.

In medical school she was different from the other students. She felt weird in comparison to the other medical students. She couldn’t tell her patients she would rather be dancing.
