Stalin became a ruthless dictator who lived by the philosophy of killing anyone or thing that could possibly threaten his position in Soviet Russia. Another threat to Stalin was religion, he decided to destroy Russia’s most popular religion, and make everyone worship him as a God, everyone was required to have a picture of him in their house. Besides all the places suffering, Stalin treated Moscow lavishley, he gifted them all cars, money, alcohol, and concerts for following his beliefs. This helped his ruling but only minimally since Moscow didn;t make up many citizens. Stalin remarries but unfortunately his wife kills herself, he comments at her funeral that “she passed as an enemy.” Later on, Stalin signs a nonaggression pact with Hitler, but is then betrayed when the Nazi’s attach Soviet Russia. His army defeated Hitler and slowly starts regaining land; he loses allies, and decides to drop Russia’s first atomic bomb, starting the Cold War.
