In this essay I will be telling you about Nag, in the story “Rikki-Tikki-Tavi”.This story was written by Rudyard Kipling. Nag is the cold blooded black cobra, he is definitely the antagonist of the story. I will prove that this bad black cobra is scary, evil, and sly.
Nag shows that he is scary and terrifying when he says “I am Nag…Look and be afraid!”(18) . He is scary because he is a very big cabra and he is dark black. Something that also show he is scary is that“ As no eye can follow the motion of a snake’s head when it strikes.”(19)Nothing is scarier than a really fast cobra. Nags scales creeped over the bricks outside”(19). Black scales creeping over bricks is paralyzingly scary.
